Alcohol Shipping Policy – Grapevine Central San Gabriel
At Grapevine Central San Gabriel, we take pride in delivering exceptional wines responsibly and in full compliance with California State Law. Please read our shipping terms carefully before placing an order.
1. Age Verification and Adult Signature Required
You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase alcohol from our website. By placing an order, you certify that you are of legal drinking age.
All shipments containing alcohol require the signature of an adult 21 years or older at the time of delivery. Couriers will not leave packages unattended and may request valid government-issued photo identification to confirm age.
2. Shipping Eligibility
We currently ship alcohol only within California. Orders destined for other states will be canceled and refunded. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or international destinations.
3. Local Delivery & In-Store Pickup
For customers in the San Gabriel area, we offer:
- Local delivery (within a defined radius – see checkout for details)
- Free in-store pickup
All local deliveries require an adult signature (21+) and a valid ID. Pickup orders will be held for up to 7 days, after which the order may be canceled unless alternative arrangements are made.
4. Delivery Fees
- Standard California Shipping: Rates calculated at checkout based on location and quantity
- Local Delivery (San Gabriel area): Flat fee or free with minimum purchase (see checkout for details)
- In-Store Pickup: Free
5. Processing & Handling Time
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). You will receive an email confirmation when your order ships or is ready for pickup. Delays may occur during peak seasons or due to weather conditions.
6. Weather Holds
Wine is perishable. If extreme weather (heat or cold) could damage your wine during shipping, we may temporarily hold your order and notify you. We always aim to ship in a way that preserves product quality.
7. Returns & Refunds
Due to California law and the nature of alcoholic products, we cannot accept returns of wine except in cases of:
- Damaged or defective bottles
- Incorrect shipments
If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong product, notify us within 48 hours of delivery at sales@grapevinecentral-sg.com or call us at (626) 766-1226. We will arrange a replacement or issue a refund as appropriate.
8. Lost or Undeliverable Packages
If the carrier cannot complete delivery after three attempts, the shipment will be returned to us. Reshipping fees and a restocking charge may apply. We are not responsible for packages lost or stolen after successful delivery.
