We need some FAQ!
1. Do I need to be 21 to purchase wine from your website?
Yes. You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase wine from Grapevine Central San Gabriel, whether in-store or online. An adult signature and valid ID are required upon delivery.
2. Do you ship wine outside of California?
At this time, we only ship within the State of California due to state alcohol regulations. Orders placed for out-of-state delivery will be canceled and refunded.
3. What is biodynamic wine?
Biodynamic wine is made from grapes grown using organic methods, with additional holistic practices that view the vineyard as an interconnected ecosystem. These wines are produced with minimal intervention, no synthetic chemicals, and often according to lunar cycles.
4. Can I pick up my order in-store?
Yes! We offer free in-store pickup at our location at 427 W Las Tunas Dr, San Gabriel. Select “Pick Up” at checkout and you’ll be notified when your order is ready — typically within 1 business day.
5. How much is shipping?
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and the size of your order. We also offer local delivery within a defined radius of San Gabriel — often free with a minimum purchase.
6. What happens if I’m not home to sign for my wine delivery?
Alcohol shipments require an adult (21+) signature. Our carrier will make three delivery attempts. If the package is not delivered, it will be returned to us, and additional shipping charges may apply.
7. Do you accept returns or exchanges on wine?
Because of California law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is damaged, defective, or incorrect. Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order if there’s an issue.
8. Do you offer wine tastings or events?
While we cannot conduct tastings at our retail shop due to our California Type 20 license, we collaborate with local restaurants to host off-site wine tasting events. These gatherings are a great way to pair fine wine with food and connect with the San Gabriel community. Join our email list or follow us on social media for event updates.
9. How often do you get new wines in stock?
We’re always on the lookout for exciting new organic and biodynamic wines. Our selection is updated regularly with unique finds from small producers around the world. If you’re looking for something new or seasonal, check back often or join our mailing list to stay in the loop on fresh arrivals.
