The 2024 Corvée Trentino "Quaràs" Chardonnay is an elegant, mountain-driven white wine produced by the Corvée Winery in the Cembra Valley of the Trentino-Alto Adige region in Northern Italy. Profile and Tasting Notes Aromas: Dominant notes of bright yellow fruits, ripe pineapple, and orange peel. These fruit elements seamlessly blend with rich, sweeter undertones of caramel, toffee, and toasted hazelnut. Palate: It features an austere yet full-bodied texture with a dry, clean profile. The wine’s distinct Alpine origins give it a refreshing, crisp acidity and a mineral, stone-like finish. Alcohol Content: Typically rests at 12.5% ABV. Terroir and Production The Vineyard: The Quaràs vineyard sits at an altitude of approximately 520 meters above sea level at the foot of Monte Avvoltoio. The site benefits from large temperature swings between day and night and features deep, fertile soils dense with clay. Vinification: Grapes are hand-harvested late in September. Following gentle pressing and temperature-controlled stainless steel fermentation, the wine undergoes 8 months of aging on the fine lees inside French oak barrels (pièces and tonneaux), followed by an additional 6 months of bottle aging before its release. Serving and Pairings Serving Temperature: Best served slightly chilled between 10–12°C (50–54°F). Food Pairings: The wine's rich oak structure and bright acidity make it an excellent match for: Grilled sea bass or baked cod, Pan-seared sea scallops, Poultry served in heavy, creamy sauces and Earthy wild mushroom risotto
